Vitae Pharma needed a pharmaceutical brand film that would avoid the clichés of generic corporate video production — sterile labs, stock footage, scripted narration — and speak authentically to two audiences simultaneously: top scientific talent considering career moves, and institutional investors evaluating research culture.
02 — Solution
We centred the employer branding video on personal stories of researchers and clinicians, using macro cinematography of laboratory processes and a minimal contemporary aesthetic that set the pharma brand film apart from conventional healthcare corporate video. The production relied entirely on natural interviews, edited with precise pacing to hold both audiences.
03 — Result
The pharmaceutical brand film became the centrepiece of Vitae Pharma's employer branding portal, driving a 25% increase in qualified job applications in the 12 months following launch. The video was embedded in investor materials and cited by the CFO in the annual report as a key element of the company's talent acquisition strategy.
